Adjacent to the existing iconic Beit Levinstein Hospital building, designed by Yasky Architects in 1973, the new addition will improve the standards of the hospital to those around the world and at the same time expand hospital admission capacity.
The building is enveloped by a horizontal and vertical grid that creates a dialogue with the existing building while using contemporary materials. The design team has taken patients' needs into special account by creating larger rooms with more personal space and low windows allowing views for those lying in bed.
With the abundance of soothing natural light throughout the building, the end result is a major upgrade to the hospital that will positively impact patients and visitors alike.
