Ovnat Tower

Location: Israel, Petah Tikva
Status: Completed in 2016
Size: 12,950 sq.m
Client: Melisron

The new Ovnat Tower in Petah Tikva is a 17-story mixed-use building combining office spaces and a hotel. It is being constructed adjacent to the Ovnat Mall, above an active parking garage, in the heart of the Kiryat Aryeh business district.

The ground floor faces Motta Gur Street and features two separate lobbies, one for offices and one for the hotel on different levels, each with separate elevator systems. Above the six levels of parking are five office floors, topped by six hotel floors and one public level.

All facades are clad with curtain walls, and the entire structure is constructed with a concrete frame. A major planning challenge was building a new tower while maintaining full operation of the existing parking garage, resolved through a carefully phased construction plan which included the addition of two more parking levels during the work.
The design of the building is based on simple, clean geometry that aligns with the architectural language of the existing mall, creating a unified and dignified street frontage.

The tower marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Ovnat Mall into a mixed-use complex and is planned to integrate with another tower to be built just north of it.
Its strategic location near the Jabotinsky axis and the light rail station makes it a prominent landmark in the urban skyline of Petah Tikva.
