The "Minhal Hahandasa" Building

Location: Israel, Haifa
Status: Completed in 2002
Size: 25,000 sq.m
Client: Haifa Municipality

Located in the heart of the city, this project, which took first place in a design competition, respects its location opposite the Haifa City Hall.

The west wall has been extracted from the rectangular mass and set parallel to the City Hall, honoring it and becoming part of the grid of the complex. The tension between the two grids of the building itself generates the creation of the unique essence of the building.

This simple yet unique design seals its place and purpose in the Haifa complex.
