Sonol Chachmi

Location: Israel, Tel Aviv
Status: In progress
Size: 78,775 sq.m
Client: Avraham Rubinstein Co.

The Sonol Chachmi Tower is a 38 Story office building that includes a commercial ground floor, two public floors, and multiple office levels. It is planned adjacent to the existing Sonol Tower, as part of a broader urban renewal of the Shevah area, and will be part of a cohesive and accessible urban complex, near a light rail station and major transportation arteries.

The tower will be integrated within a new urban park that includes two commercial pavilions, shaded rest areas, and open public spaces that connect the complex to surrounding streets and to a college building designated for preservation. The main design challenge was to create tiered balconies along the entire height of the structure while maintaining a smooth building envelope with no protruding columns. These balconies will serve as landscaped terraces open to the sky, climbing up the façades and giving the tower a distinctive sculptural identity, while maintaining a unified design language with the adjacent Sonol Tower. The façades will be clad in curtain walls with vertical sun-shading fins, combined with advanced metal panel cladding.

The tower’s design and its connection to the neighboring buildings will create a new and contemporary urban block in the heart of Tel Aviv, offering a unique architectural experience for employees, visitors, and local residents. The fusion of innovative architecture, rich environmental development, and excellent transportation accessibility positions the project as a prominent landmark within the evolving urban fabric of Tel Aviv.
