Inaugurated in 2012, Schneider's first building constituted a milestone in the design of hospitals in Israel. Today, with the construction of the second building, the new center will reinforce the connection between hospital and community.
The new building is planned to be a "Healing/recuperating building", with large open spaces surrounding the building and inside it as well. The building will be designed adhering to green construction standards, with a "therapeutic" garden connecting both buildings and an additional garden planned on the roof of the entry structure.
The new building will meet the challenge of harmoniously integrating with the existing building while also creating a new milestone in hospital design.
