Located in the southern part of Jerusalem's hi-tech hub of Har Hazofim and confined by Jerusalem's main traffic artery to the north, Rad Binat Headquarters is home to its eponymous hi-tech group, Rad Binat.
The greatest challenge in this project was overcoming the site’s mountainous terrain. The project consists of two main L-shaped buildings that surround a large courtyard with cafes and restaurants, that provide a green, shaded refuge. The plan allows flexibility for interior design and a more efficient division of office space.
The beige granite cladding quite like the Jerusalem stone has made this headquarters a handsome addition to the entrance to Jerusalem. The design was awarded first place in an invited competition in 2001.
