Located in an industrial area just outside of Montenegro's capital city, the Podgorica Mall has made an impact on its surroundings and has spurred the construction of new residential projects that have radically improved the area.
This commercial center has two floors filled with shops, cafés, supermarket, and a large food court in its center, underneath a skylight that asymmetrically distributes natural lighting. The outside walls are made of porcelain tiles combined with aluminum, with a large sloping curtain wall that exposes the food court to the exterior. Adjacent to it is a multi-storey parking complex.
One of the Podgorica Mall's façades is curved and the other perpendicular to the street, and both were designed so they maximize the visibility of the mall's anchor stores at both ends.
