The Opatoshu project in South Tel Aviv features a 30-story residential tower alongside three mid-rise buildings of 10 stories each. The complex is located at the corner of Kibbutz Galuyot and Yisrael Guri Streets, as part of a large-scale urban renewal initiative.
The buildings are arranged around a central green core and designed to create an active, continuous commercial frontage along Kibbutz Galuyot Street, complemented by a welcoming green plaza facing south toward the Kiryat Shalom neighborhood. The planning concept emphasizes pedestrian connectivity through north-south and east-west axes, integrating the development into the existing urban fabric.
One of the main design challenges was to establish a modern architectural language that responds to Tel Aviv’s historical context, incorporating elements that add depth, rhythm, and shading to the façades. Opatoshu is envisioned as a meeting point between old and new blending commercial and residential spaces with public and community amenities-while reflecting a contemporary design approach that balances urban intensity with a pleasant, accessible living environment.
