Located at the edge of Wadi Nisnas, a 19th century neighborhood, the city's downtown district and new municipal buildings, Shikmona Center serves as a bridge between old and new in the capital of Israel's North.
The project, a mixed use complex of office and retail buildings, connects through a series of open squares, sculptured steps and orchestrated views to the adjacent neighborhood, new developments and streets, which can span a height difference of up to 22 meters.
The complex that overlooks the neighborhood’s churches has revitalized the area by the creation of inviting, new public spaces which intertwine the old with the new district court building and government campus.
