The interior design of Gav Yam Rehovot focuses on creating a contemporary and green arrival experience for four office buildings. The project is located in the heart of the Science Park in Rehovot, adjacent to the Weizmann Institute and a developing and open public space.
The design language strives for a balance between natural materials, advanced technology and environmental sustainability. In the lobby of the buildings, architectural concrete panels in white are paired with three-layer smoked oak parquet flooring, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and clean. The lobby ceilings feature white aluminum profiles in a floating design, with concealed lighting installed above to enhance a sense of height and lightness. A central and distinctive element is a broad green wall that serves as the backdrop to the reception desk, infusing a sense of nature and organic presence from the first step inside. Materials were carefully selected: printed glass, thin metals and smart lighting systems, all in compliance with LEED Silver Certification requirements. The total planned interior space for the project is approximately 3,000 sqm, with each element designed as part of an integrated approach with the architecture of the buildings themselves.
The interior design of Gav Yam Rehovot establishes a restrained yet elegant visual identity for the entire complex, seamlessly connecting the functional needs of a modern work environment with an inviting, green and pleasant space for both employees and visitors.
