The C-One complex in Bat Yam comprises a 34-story residential tower and a 6-story commercial and office building. The project is built above a four-level underground parking structure and features an active commercial frontage along HaKomemiyut Street.
Strategically located at an urban junction between a residential neighborhood, the HaKomemiyut Street promenade, public institutions and open spaces, the design defines a central shaded green plaza between the two buildings, serving as a vital public space that connects the Fallen Grove to the south with the Helena Garden to the north.
The planning concept is based on principles of urban intensity, mixed-use development and creating infrastructure for diverse community activities along a vibrant commercial frontage. A key design challenge was creating a flexible typical floor plan in the residential tower, allowing for varying layouts of 3, 4, and 5 bedroom apartments to meet market needs.
The tower is constructed using an innovative semi-prefabricated method, incorporating large porcelain granite panels offering a wide range of updated cladding materials suited for large-scale urban residential construction.
The façades feature aluminum and glass curtain walls that create a dialogue with the surrounding urban renewal context.
C-One is set to integrate into the evolving skyline of HaKomemiyut Street and serves as a distinctive edge to the northern residential neighborhood, combining contemporary architecture, responsible urban planning, and a high-quality living experience in the heart of a renewing cityscape.
