Bat Yam Town Square

Location: Israel , Bat Yam
Status: In progress
Size: 68,850 sq.m
Client: Matzlawi Building Company Ltd

Bat Yam Town Square is a new master plan including a mixed-use building that is located
in the heart of the city’s business district, adjacent to the light rail station and the Design Terminal.

The project offers an urban complex comprising 165 residential units, approximately 20,000 sqm of office space, 1,700 sqm of commercial space and 12,000 sqm of public areas designated to serve as the new Bat Yam City Hall.

The architectural vision emphasizes the integration of active urban life with the existing fabric, while designing an open civic square that connects municipal institutions, public buildings and major transportation routes. The project links Nissenboim Street with Kinamon Street, overcoming topographic differences between HaSollelim Street and the new city square.
The development provides inviting pedestrian-friendly pathways and accessible public infrastructure, creating a clear urban axis between the existing courthouse and the future city hall. This strategic initiative combines high-quality planning with increased building rights alongside high-capacity public transportation in the heart of a renewing and growing area.

Bat Yam Town Square is set to become a significant urban anchor, blending residential, office, public services, and commercial spaces into an open and vibrant urban environment serving the city’s residents and its surroundings throughout the day.
