The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Building on Ben-Gurion University’s Northern Campus in Be’er Sheva is one of four planned structures within the new academic complex. Designed to address the shortage of classrooms, the building provides a contemporary learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration and technological advancement.
The building includes formal learning spaces for 40–80 students, two auditoriums, a cafeteria with a full kitchen, and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center on the top floor featuring training areas, project rooms, meeting spaces and informal work zones.
The interior design integrates seamlessly with the architectural concept, combining concrete, metal, glass, and wood, each material expressing a distinct functional role.
The ground floor, serving as the main entrance foyer for the auditoriums, features U-Glass cladding, while a sculptural steel staircase with a Corten finish anchors the central atrium.
The movement of people on the sculpted stairs and around the atrium is visible from the main street through a large curtain wall, creating a sense of openness and connection between the interior and the campus. The project combines functional solutions, high-quality materials, and innovative design to create a dynamic learning environment that inspires students, faculty, and visitors alike.
