The interior design of the entrance level at Kikar Hamedina Towers in Tel Aviv focuses on creating an impressive yet understated arrival experience. Situated in the heart of the city’s most prestigious area, the project blends architectural geometry with a refined design concept.
The public space is organized on circular movement around the tower core that creates a floating peripheral envelope that guides visitors with a dramatic sculptural element. This feature, made of a uniquely textured metal mesh, is bathed in light and highlighted like an enveloping jewel, drawing the gaze inward even from outside the building.
Each design alternative explored expressed the central concept differently, yet all relied on a timeless, simple formal language. The combination of terrazzo, wood, metal, glass, and controlled natural light lends the space a sense of refinement alongside a clear design presence.
The tower’s façades, inspired by the circular form of the plaza, emphasize rotational movement in the residential floors, in harmony with the lobby’s design language.
The centrality of the interior element embodies the idea of a fixed center with movement around it, both in function and in the spatial experience.
The lobby design in Kikar Hamedina is not merely the outcome of an aesthetic vision, but also an expression of a deep urban and architectural idea: creating a place that merges luxury, meticulous materiality and spatial flow, while maintaining a restrained, embracing, and inviting design tone.
